I hope i'm posting in the right section and that i'm not going to be flamed but I want to purchase a pci, i've installed things before into my pc, ram, hard drive etc and I was just wondering if installing a wireless pci is easy or not?

O and also I have a linksys router, would it be best to get a linksys wireless pci? Or will a £20 belkin one do?

Ive found these 3, they are all linksys wireless pci's but all cost different prices? What are the differences????

It's a piece of cake installing one. Just open the pc up, plug it in the right slot, close it up again, start the pc, install the drivers.

As far as the ones you picked out:

This one only operates at a 802.11b speed, which is slower.
This one operates at the fast 802.11g speed, and has a 3 year warranty.
This one operates at the fast 802.11g speed, and has a 1 year warranty.

That may explain the price differences. Although I don't know why the 802.11b is more expensive than the g's...

Although they all operate within the same standards, across manufacturers, I have found in the past better compatability with the same makes. That may sound weird to some people, but that's what I've personally found.

Different sized parts don't really make any difference, when it's the specs you're interested in. In fact, unless you are looking to get an extended warranty (3 years), then I'd just get this one. It'll serve your purposes fine.

Oh, and I've just clocked my 1,000th post. Good old me. :p

Good for you :) Personally, I would get the 3 year warranty because I have this thing for breaking computers....

Edit: Only around the mid 50s...
