I would really appreciate it if someone could help me. I have a laptap and am using vista. I am connecting wirelessly but after about an hour I have no internet connection and I am told that windows cannot locate any networks. I have to turn the computer off and then on again before it locates the network again; which it always can. Windows will disconnect me and say it cant find any networks every time i turn the computer on. Does anyone have any ideas for what i can do to solve this problem? thanks

try

Try using your routeres software instead of using windows vista... my dad has windows vista and I hate it, its a piece of shit... do you have a linksys router?

I hate vista as well. dunno why i bought a laptop with it on.

dont know what the router is. i'm living in a flat at the minute which doesnt have a landline and i have to connect wirelessly to the landlords router which sends a signal to everyone. dont have access to it so cant change channels etc. really havnt a clue what to do to solve the problem. the connection just keeps disappearing and no networks can be found. got an internal wireless card so only thing i can think of is to get a wireless booster or a usb adapter
