Wireless Router Help Please

Hi guys, i'm having a rather strange issue with my wireless router.

My laptop ( Windows 7 ) connects perfectly fine after entering my security key.

However my mom's laptop ( Windows Vista ) After entering the security code it will say that it is connected, but its an unidentified network and it says local only. Its like its connected but there is no internet going to it.

I have tried multiple things, reset the router etc.. But nothing has helped. One thing i resolved was if i turn off the security so its unsecured her laptop will connect perfectly fine.. I however do not wanna leave it unsecured for obvious reasons.

The process I'm about to explain works most of the time so do this.

Go into the network and sharing center and on the left hand side you will see where it says "manage my wireless connections" click on it. You will need to delete the existing connection and reset it back up with the correct security key so reenable the security on the router before doing this.

For some reason the wireless profile gets easily corrupted usually.
