I recently got a wireless router for my network at home since my last one stopped working, but I don't know how to connect it.
My broadband access is via the cable-TV network, and my modem is a Motorola SURFbird (this one: http://mosaic.cnfolio.com/uploads/M528Coursework2008A101/motorola_sb5100.gif).
With my old router I just connected an Ethernet cable between the modem ethernet port and the port on the router.
But my new router doesn't seem to have one and instead has a phone cable port (the router is a netgear DGN2200: http://www.netgear.com/images/dgn2200_productimage_backview18-4996.jpg).
Can I buy some sort of adapter between the two cable types, from Ehternet to "phone cable"?
Or does this mean I can't use the router at all so that I have to take it back to the store (which told me it'd work with all connection types)?
