I have already but nothing happens and it jsut comes up with teh manual and the Belkin website. i thought it would just plug and play with a simple installation.

Physically hook up a network cable from your computer into your router, in one of the switch ports. Then launch your web browser, and type this IP address in the address bar, 192.168.2.1

Once you hit the CP (control panel) of the router via web browser telnet, you can then start running the wizard. The default settings make it so there is no password, so just hit submit and then follow the steps on the wizard.

If you bought this router second hand, make sure to do a full reset by holding in the reset button on the backside for at least 10 seconds. Someone could have changed how the router is set up.

a good source for this router is
