Hi guys, im a newb on a conquest to learn as much as I can. That is why ive joined this great forum.
Currently I live on a second floor home that my uncle owns. He rents me the second floor. I dont subscribe to internet connection, because we share the bill. He already has a broadband connection setup (Comcast). Now he didnt have any wireless networks setup, but since ive moved in and I own a PC, laptop, and PS3, I needed to have a wireless setup.
Downstairs there is a Belkin Wireless G router that i've hooked up. Ive had this Belkin router for about 3 years now. What im looking to know is if I get a higher bandwith router, like a Belkin N, would this increase my connection
Right now when I do a PS3 connection test, it says that Im having 88% signal strength (average). Im also in middle of selecting parts for my new project (HTPC
).
I've also now got into downloading movies, I enjoy playing my PS3 from time to time. Would getting a wider range router increase my gaming capabilities, and or increase my download times of movies?
Any would help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks In Advance!
