Wireless router with file sharing

I've just bought a wireless router (I've never had need for one
before), and I'm wanting to know if you can share files through it.
In my last network configuration where all the computers were
wired and could share files, this is how the network was set up:

DSL Modem -> Wired Router -> Hub -> 3 Computers

Since I bought my mom a laptop to use in her office at home
and it has a wireless NIC, how would I set up a network such
as this with a wireless router? Any help is appreciated.

The wireless router should have 4 wired ports on it so you shouldn't need a hub/switch. However, I would recommend using a switch instead of a hub if you really have to. You basically just have to set up file sharing on each system. And depending on what OS's you are, it could be difficult or easy. If its xp just run the network setup wizard and allow file sharing. All computers need to be on the same workgroup but named differently.

So the wireless router will basically do the same thing as a switch or hub, then
also be able to connect to the internet through (via the DSL modem)?
I would connect my 3 computers to the wired ports and be able to share data
between the different computers (including the wireless laptop)?

just the highlights.
give each computer a computer name. grandpa what ever.
workgroup name has to be same on all computers exactly.
example call it homenetwork.
you can share a directory or a drive.
