Wireless to Wired

Hello I need to know how to use my current hardware to make a wireless to wired connection for my friends 20 GB PS3 system.
Really I need to know what OS to use that supports my hardware configuration and can bridge.(I allready tried Windows 2003)

are you trying to use a computer to do this. If so what you'd do is have a wireless card in your computer as well as a wired connection. Then what you'll do (i'm assuming you want this for internet connectivity) is set static ip's for the ps3 and the computer's wired adapters. Set the default gateway and dns server to the computer. Then what you'll want to do is (on the pc) share the internet connection provided by the wireless so that devices connected to the wired connection can access it. It'd be a whole lot easier just to get a wireless gaming adapter though.

OK, I have installed Windows XP professional on my 376MHz/248MBs of RAM. (See the rest of the specs in the picture), but heres the problem, when I connect to my wireless network(Low to good signal) it says its connected and it gets its IP address and I can see the IP address taken when I go to attatched devices on my routers home page.(although I can see a MAC address and IP address I can't see the computer name) I have tried "repair" and restarted many times on a fresh copy of XP pro. Also, only around 2 packets of information are ever recieved.

Ok I fixed the drivers and I can connect to the internet with my PS3. Does anyone know how to change the NAT type from Nat type 3 to something else. I need to do this so I can use the chat features and connect to windows media servers. (please look at the picture to see what my setup is.

I think you need to connect your PC to a wired network without cable. if so you install wireless adapter in your pc and buy wirelss router or access point then connect your pc to the router normal wireless connection make security also . from the router make a cable to the switch of wired network

Actually, I have the setup complete. I just want to know with my setup (as displayed in the picture), how can I change the NAT type so I can use the PS3 to access my Windows XP media server.
