personally i would go wit the second one because i dont think the speed of the ram will differ that much and the only difference is the quality and the processor speed will be noticeable. they kinda even eachother out. it also depends on wat ur goin to be doin with it.
 
Well, I say go with the first one. I think you need to be ready to get two Gigs of really good RAM (like the OCZ gold) with that kind of processing power. I didn't see the 2x after each RAm. Im still going with the first one.

with a budget of 2k you should be able to fit in a 7800gt card, where is the rest of your cash going ??

As for the ram (put some links), unless you planning on overclocking heavy stick to pc3200 ram. Go for the one with the tightest timings.
 
get the faster ram with the 4400+. because the RAM is faster, you can overclockt the fsb of the CPU, wich will make it run faster as the 4600+.
all you need for that is the proper cooling :)
