Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings

Looking for a game to tide me over till some new titles drop later this year. Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings is on deal right now for like $4 CAD has anyone played this one? Any good? Worth even $4?

Heard good things about it but don't expect it to be quite the same caliber and scope of Witcher 3. I'd snag it.
