i would go with a just because im a AMD man


but there are some things here that should be updated.

if your doing a media center then you will want to get more and better ram. i suggest some 2GB XMS2 corsair high performance or at least 1gb of the high performance

and those 400W speakers might want to be backed up with a good card to get the full value out of them

the E6300 is an amazing processor. I don't know how it stacks againt the 4600+ but it wipes the floor with the 3800+ but I voted intel because of how amazing the conroe is but im still not sure if it really beats the 4600+.
