When i try to play my wma files the colours are all mest up. They look like some crazy infa red vision. Like out of predator. I tryed taking a screen shot but for some reason it came up as back. any way id like to watch these clips so if you guys could help me that would be great. Oh an di have divx up todate and my gpu driver and directx and i even tryed out the nemo codec pack but it was no good. thanks for the help

I'm rather confused because WMA is an audio format.
You can't make screen shot's of any video overlay.
DIVX has nothing to do with Windows Media files.
Have you updated Windows Media player? Since the problems or before they began occuring?

The wma files are generally audio files not video files. Are these downloaded avi files or mpegs? And what are you using to play them with?

Gee posted at the same time.

More likely the screen savers used during audio playback. If those were 3rd party not MS screen savers they could see problems if having upgraded from WMP 9 to WMP 10. Or is that the WMP 11 beta?

I had a program that tried to fix avi files and when it was done, it would add in blue white and green dots where it could not fix the video. This program was called video fixer

Not that I am recomending it...

You probably have been looking in the wrong folder for the avi files there. That's why you see the wma file extension. The screen shot definitely shows that the files were corrupted long before you got them. Those were made with poor quality to begin with. So what are you trying play them with?

If you start seeing problems running WMP 11 beta stick with WMP 10. That offers good support for video playback unlike the previous versions.
