WMP: is not working with Internet....

hi

since i loaded vista service pack 1 yesterday, I have been unable to watch videos on either on

* Firefox
* IE 7

Youtube works fine, its just when I use WMP that on a i nternet page, it make FF or IE crash , stop working

does anyone have any ideas how to solve this?

reinstall FF or IE and make sure you have updates going and make sure it is all up to date.

I uninstall ed service pack1 and it solved the issues

so I'm not what the problem is!

well maybe it could've have been something in the installtion the first time. but at least it fixed... good luck.

when you say video, you mean flash ? or normal videos ?
might try re-isnatlling the video pluggin

you can't uninstall IE7 in Vista

when click play it buffs and then crashes the Web brower

when I take Service park 1 off It start working again!

I have reinstalled everything and nothing works

it just crash the web browser, there something in service park 1 that causing this issues!

well if you think it's SP1 issues, no way to fix it for now, can you give me a site with videos that i can see for myself ?

ok so it tells me to install wmp11 plugin for Firefox which i did, for whatever reasons, now i can't use Aero Interface, it's stuck on Vista Basic. but the video plays in FF.
However in IE , it streams but does not play.
There is an Issue in this SP1 though, i may say
