wmp not installing

I reinstalled Windows cuz i was trying out Longhorn beta 1 and now am trying to install Windows Media Player 10 and when its installing its says:

setup_wm.exe - Entry point not found

The procedure entry point __CxxFrameHandler3 could not be locaed in the dynamic link library msvcrt.dll.

help please! :( lol
 
You should look for windows vista beta it should be less buggy and I think it already has MP10
 
that part doesn't come up anymore, when i click on the WMP 10 icon a window comes up saying "Windows Media Components Setup" and then when i click next it asks me to "upgrade newer components only." or "Reinstall All Components" when i click either of them it just says that i have already have the lastest version, so it doesnt start up.
