Woah... I just read the manul to my mobo, could you help clear a few things up?

I picked up the manual to my ECS C51GM-M mobo today

And on p.1 it says

Thank you for choosing the mobo blah blah blah........ then it says, The c51PV/G northbridge features the hypertransport technology up to 1.0 GHz for a total bandwidth of 8.0 GT/s.

Could someone please clear up that section? Im a little confused

Hypertransport is used in newer AMD processors (socket 754, 939, 940, AM2, i think..). It's very similar to FSB. My socket 754 AMD 64 has 800mhz Hypertransport, your AM2 CPU has 1ghz HT.

which makes no diffrence unless the mobo supports it
