Burner: Lg black 6x blu-ray

If I left something out let me know.

Go for 6gb of 1600mhz ddr3, and do you really have a need for a blu-ray drive? Unless you plan on watching blu ray mobies it would be best suited to put the extra into getting a 2gb GTX285 like this:

Links can be posted by copy and pasting the link from the newegg/whatever webpage at the top. Of if they are in shopping cart right click the items link and hit "Copy link location"

I was going to burn home movies onto blu ray>

Ah, well you do realize blu ray drives you need a blu ray burner(dunno if you have one or not since you should post links), and the media at the moment is ~$10/15 a disc. That makes a coaster....well...ouch. If you are gaming, the velociraptor is a good drive, but for normal use not really needed over two 1TB caviar blacks.

It would be better to get a long HDMI cable(depending on your Distance b/w TV and PC)
and connect you PC to the TV much cheaper so instead of burning from your comp you can directly play it on TV

build seems on par. The velocirapter seems like its a bit off par with the rest of the build. you could save on the hard drive and go to a 2GB GPU like the other suggestions.
