wont pick up SD card

hi

for some reason my desktop wont pick up my SD card when i put it in.....

in all the settings ect it says all drivers are working ect.

please help thanks

Is it just one particular sd card or all sd cards ?

Is this an integrated SD card reader, or an external one? I've had issues with my external reader where I need to unplug it from the computer and back in to recognize my CF card.

If it's integrated, do you see the reader in device manager?

Has it ever read this card? SD cards come in 3 flavors, SD (max 4GB), SDHC (less than 32GB) & SDXC (up to 128GB). Older readers may only support SD while newer readers may support SD & SDHC while the newest may support SD, SDHC & SDXC.
