got the one with slightly overclocked memory to 2000mhz.. its a nice one alright, and it'll go just fine with vista ultimate! muahaha!

yea, well i looked at the specs and its basically the same as the 4870 only underclocked and worse memory... so i figure why not! i got the one with slightly overclocked memory so that ought to help it be more like the 4870.. and it uses less power too

lol i remember when i had a 9600xt.. man that card was sick!! lol oh and my 9800pro when that one died...

well, the reason i got it is because of the massive processing power. i think the memory on the card really bottlenecks it and that allows ati to sell it at a lower price... basically they produced a lot of the 4870 and threw it in all their cards, and put GDDR3 in the 4850's and underclocked the gpu a bit to make a lower end card. could be wrong though lol

looks like its a really good GPU, i will be sending in test results from 3dmark06, 3dmark vantage, etc... once i get that and my quad core in!
