Working on laptop Compaq Evo N1000c and question

Its not the fastest. looks like 17" screen, dvd burner and xp pro 32bit.
No USB port. can't believe it. See something says 1394 on the side, looks like slots like rs232 or something. dont know. No serial port for cabled mouse. Any ideas? im missing something.

Which one do you mean, i found this online and it has USB and PS/2

Found it with the top link. I couldn't figure it out. He said it did not have a usb port. had two. That was it. just didn't know where.

then again i did not believe it. some kind of lever or door ya had to open.
