World's First Open Air Case!

That's more or less the ultimate in air flow simply due to not seeing "any side panels or top plate to have anything restricting air flow. Save your money and simply tear the covers off any cheap case and what will you have? A skeleton job!

All you see there is a fancy framework with a twist in style. If you like show pieces then you are all set. But for practicality? That raises questions.

I'll still take a 900 over that one any day of the week sorry! In certain environments that would actually be more of a dust magnet then any other case you could name. I mean literally "anything" could fall in.

wow, few things can go wrong there, it can be loud, it is electrically unsafe, so i'm not to sure.....

i would personally get an enclosed case.

lol jd!

I didn't watch the whole vid...(low speeds at the time being) but wouldn't it be better if they would put a 250mm right below the motherboard. The 2500mm would hit the back of the motherboard directly, and it will dramatically cool it. in my 690 cm, there is a smnall 80 mm pushing air into the cpu plate in the back of the mobo, it cooled my cpu by almost 7-8 c.

i had a motherboard and PSU on a sheet of plywood for testing. The drives were just like loose. Didnt have any PCI cards, but i guess that would have caused problems.

seems like a major risk for electrical shock

It's still only 12v non lethal. The problem being open and exposed would be possible damage from anything simply falling into it if an object just happened to cut into a wire and saw a direct short.

I doubt anyone would be throwing sharp objects around while a photo in a wood/glass frame being jarred from the wall above if large in size and weight... ? zzzzap! and a little smoke appears!

"gee I just spilled my drink into the ...." poof! "that little brat just threw.. and it landed inside..." zzzt! oh well.

If you happen to run across a custom builders show or contest you'll often run right into some rather "unusual" designs. The case or should I say framework isn't that unique in that sense but simply being put into production rather then someone's own one of kind mod.

this is pretty retarded it doesnt even look cool besides what if you have a cat or somthing it would come up and maybe try to scratch your mobo lol this is just funny looking
