Worth the extra $50?

I bet you would notice a difference, but I doubt it'd be that much. The specs are quite close on the OC'd 7900GS. Of course, that's theoretical. I'd probably go on with the 7900GS, but I'm not a heavy gamer...
 
Never buy any 'special' editions of anything because all they really do is make it look cool, add a different cooler and OC a little, then jack up the price..... Nothing that you really can't do for a lesser price...... I would go with the 7950GT but then again, I would also wait for the new DX10 cards that are just around the corner.....
 
Some people ended up having complaints on the 7900 line of cards. But that can also be from not knowing how to install drivers correctly as well as other things. I would be looking at the EVGA link over the XFX brand anyways while still being somewhat of an ATI fan. The price difference without sales tax or S&H included is about $25 not $40 between the two.
