By far and away the 5850 is better than the 465, the 5850 is lined up against the GTX470, but the rest of that graph is pretty far off as the 5870 crossfire didn't beat two 470's in crossfire in any benches i saw from a guy over at the evga forums, let alone two 5850's.

If you are going to upgrade your PC soon, you should wait for Intel Sandy Beach processor which is going to launch in Q4'2010. It has latest cache and memory architecture that helps a lot in speed up cache memory fetching.
Also it has pretty interesting graphic engines and hardware video decoding and encoding that support for AVC encoding and decoding to support Blue-Ray type video transcoding activities.
For the display it is great, it can support multiple digital display with dedicate graphic bus. If you are moderate gaming fans then the integrated graphics more than enough to play any games as the 3D engine is really monster at its grade.

Also if you are going with Win7, you can make use of its AES-NS 256 bit instruction set to help tighter security locking onto your files and applications.
