Old system:

Slot 1 700MHz (Hotglued an fan to HSF because of overheating)
192Mb PC100 (Pc133/Pc66)
CDRW + CD ROM
Floppy Drive
Nvidia Geforce2 MX400 32MB
40GB HDD


Would I notice an difference in Halo if I gave it an Geforce2 GTS?
 
What do you frame now? And with 32 mb gfx card thats pretty bad dude. I'm suprise it can just handle the game.

edit: can you at least get a 64-128 mb?
 
Not worth it mate...get a radeon 9600 pro like i have....its dead cheap now and its not a bad card.
 
Ah the GTS was Part of the geforce2 lineup.. never heard of it. :D

Agree with nevakonanza, Get something really cheap but not horrendous like those "old" cards.
 
Yes you should notice some difference because Geforce 2 GTS performs better than Geforce MX400, but the difference won't be so huge though.
