would it make sense to upgrade my video card?

the system showed below (so with a 4X AGP slot.)
i currently have a fx 5200 in it. but i was thinking of getting something a bit more powerfull.
but would the grafics improve with a different card (lets say a 5700)?
i mean, cuz its still 4x AGP ;)

i just upgraded the cpu (to the maximum the board supports. and since its 1GB SD RAM i can upgrade that without upgrading everything. ;) )

I upgraded from a 128mb 5200 to a 256mb 5700le, it was an alright upgrade, not a leap performance wise, but still better than the 5200.

i would recommend that you upgrade your CPU, video card and a new board for a better perfromance.

I'd probably just save up for a whole new pc, and have your current one as a backup/server or something like that.

I can buy someone's fx5700LE, do you think i will notice any improvement?
5950U = 8x4 @ 475/475
5900U = 8x4 @ 450/475
5900 = 8x4 @ 450/425
5900XT = 8x4 @ 400/425
5700U = 4x2 @ 475/450
5700 = 4x2 @ 425/275
5700LE = 4x2 @ 250/200
5600 = 2x1 @ 325/(275/200)
5600XT = 2x1 @ 235/200
5500U = 2x1 @ (270/300)/250
5500 = 2x1 @ 270/200
5200U = 2x1 @ 325/325
5200 = 2x1 @ 250/200

Well, it would probubly do some good, but a 1600+ will be a serius botlle-neck
Arguably not as much as the 5200 but it really depends on the games yer playing

well.. the pc currently run's battlefield 2. (res 1280 x 980 @ 60 Hz, and textures on medium, and the rest on low.) and i want to play such games ;)

and in about 3 months im going to buy a new one, but i will put this one downstairs so i can play lan games with someone.

but you think a 70 dollar investment for a fx5700le would be a wise investment?
