I was wondering if this build that I am getting: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/nRnrYJ would run Minecraft at max settings? And how would it do if tried to run Shaders Mod? Thanks in advance!
Could you make this build on PCPartPicker and link me to it? My Gmail Account is all screwed up, so it won't let me register.Yes, at 1080p that should be plenty imo.
But get the
430W PSU from Newegg for $30 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...9058&cm_re=corsair_psu-_-17-139-058-_-Product
Intel G2030 for the same price ($60) http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819116924&cm_re=cpu-_-19-116-924-_-Product
Gigabyte Motherboard for $32 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...28619&cm_re=motherboad-_-13-128-619-_-Product
Then with what you save (without performance penalty) get the R9 270X, a much better card than the R7 260 - for same overall budget http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...571&cm_re=graphcs_card-_-14-131-571-_-Product
Plus you get $100 gaming voucher...
Much better performance in gaming, same budget.
Just search for the products he listed on Newegg on whatever site you want to buy them on.Could you make this build on PCPartPicker and link me to it? My Gmail Account is all screwed up, so it won't let me register.
Well, I won't be able to buy them for a month or two and so I want to keep them organized. But I'll make a Note Pad or something for it. Is the processor he suggested better than the one I was getting?Just search for the products he listed on Newegg on whatever site you want to buy them on.
I know I sound needy, but can you make the list on PCPartPicker? If you can't, thanks for the help!Itll max out minecraft at 1080p. Its the same cost as your other build if you buy on newegg, i just moved the budget around.

OK, here's the final build (changed the OS to Win 7): http://pcpartpicker.com/p/XJZ3mGWhat I can say is that the GPU you have chosen is enough for any of the latest games at 1080p. What I cannot guarantee is that with all the modifications possible, textures etc. that your configuration will run flawlessly. No one can. But, if any computer can do it that one will.
The other issue is, you have 2 RAM slots. If you are going to add another 4GB that will mean removing BOTH 2GB RAM modules and adding 2 x 4GB RAM modules to get 8GB in dual channel mode. I have chosen 2 x 2GB (4GB total) to maintain dual channel, however if you are planning on getting another 4GB, you are best off getting a single 4GB stick now and adding another later.
Again, thanks ALOT for the help!Looks good.
One more question (sorry, want to make sure of things), which OS do you think I should get?No problems. Just ensure you update the motherboard BIOS when you get your system up and running and take it slow when building. If you have any dramas or questions, stop in here at CF and we will sort it..
