Both amd and Intel are ''Upgrading Their Processors'' to 90nm Cores (amd's is 'Winchesters' and i dont know about Intel)

Here one thread that confirms Winchester The 64 90nm:Amd Zone

Heres Intel's Official Specs:

Intel's 90nm spec

From what i've heard the Cores are colder than the Present cores

Intel's been at the 90mm game for some time now, AMD is just catching up to that :) The nice thing is that when AMD rolls out their 90nm stuff i think it will feature Dual Core :)

As for heat, the 90nm intel chips -- the prescotts -- are heat cannons :p

i dont get whats up with the 90nm cores, what do they do? just cool the cpu's down?
They dont "do" anything. Its like having a piece of paper 5 inches wide versus a piece of paper 6 inches wide... the size doesnt "do" anything :) What the difference between the 90nm and 130nm process is that the smaller the process, the less voltage required to trigger events and that means less heat ... except with the P4E
