Sorry if a lot of that is nonsense, but I hope it covers the specs needed to assess my problem. I was playing WoW a couple days ago, and usually it runs perfectly fine and this has never happened before, but suddenly my screen turned into flannel and I heard a loud constant beep. I couldn't see anything at all, just horizontal and vertical lines of red and green. Alt+F4, ctrl-alt-delete didn't do anything, so I had to manually shut down. I updated my video card driver earlier but the problem has persisted. I have been playing other games such as Warcraft 3 and Oblivion and they run smoothly. I remember messing around in my options in WoW a while before the crashing started, but I'm sure I didn't make any drastic changes of any sort. What could be going on?

GPU seems rather hot. Did you run this program while WoW was running? If so, it may not be an issue. 66*C is pretty high if you weren't in-game at the time.

Have you cleaned your computer out recently? It may be clogged with dust, also check if the fan on the graphics card is spinning and make sure it's got plenty of room to shift air around it.

Seems odd that you can run oblivion without problems though, have you tried running it for the same amount of time as WoW?

No, I was out of game when that temp was recorded. I also went in and sprayed for dust after the first crash and everything appeared normal.

How do I know if I have XP 32 or 64 bit? And that driver cleaner pro download link doesn't work.. er, the link works but I cannot download the product. Also, when I uninstall my current driver, do I need to install just the one from the link you gave me? Or that one PLUS the latest driver for my card?

Update: This software was removed at the request of the publisher. A newer version of their software is still available yet shareware, to be found at the author's website.

I installed the new driver, gonna boot up WoW now and see what happens.

Ok, there was something horribly wrong when I booted wow, it ran but the video was very messed up. Could this be because I only uninstalled the old driver via add/remove programs?

You ALWAYS want to completely uninstall video drivers and reboot the computer before you install new ones. ALWAYS. :) The other thing to consider is that the card itself could be dying, but I wouldn't say that for sure, yet.
