wow this file is alive!!!

okay so i download a .avi file by torrent, and i first tried to zip it, but when i copied and pasted it into the zip folder, the zip folder would turn into a blank system file with a weird name like "zt66fdsb4" then it would continue to get bigger and bigger while the compression progress bar wouldn't budge, the i hit cancel and i got " the compressed folder is invalid or corrupt" WTF?! so i tried to make a copy f it and the same thing happened it makes a copy that is just a blank icon (like when you delete the file extension of a file) and has a weird name "sd55h6h5" that automatically deletes itself after i realize its not gonna work and hit cancel

does anybody know what the HELL is going on?!
 
I've never seen something like that, it could possibly be compressing to a different name but I couldn't see why it would be getting larger...I mean it is "compressing." Anyways, probably a virus or some type of security feature.
 
this is the strangest thing...ever!

i opened task manager and tried it but there was no new process that showed up, i also changed the extension of the file to .exe .txt .bat and they all did the same thing! how it can maintain this "protection" through different file types is....amazing....
