Wrong Temperatures?

I am pretty sure Speedfan, PC Wizard and even the BIOS is reading one of my temperatures wrong..

My core temperatures are read by SpeedFan and PC Wizard as 27-30*C idle and about 40*C max on load.

But.. the 'CPU Temperature' is going anywhere from -100*C to 120*C and over on SpeedFan, and on PC Wizard the reading disappears sometimes and comes back and can say up to 120*C and goes way down to 1*C also.

The BIOS also shows high and low unsteady temperatures, but doesn't show any core temperatures.

Anyone know what the hell is going on?

Yeah they are, does that mean the CPU temp is wrong though?

I'd assume so, since your chip would probably burst into flames at 120*c :P

EDIT: The thermostat that measures the CPU temp is probably bad man, I wouldn't worry about it.. if the core temps are around 30*c as you say.
