I know this isnt the right place for this topic, but I know this catagory is the busiest and most visited so I figured I would get more response as I need an opinion on how much my system should cost to sell if I did so!

I've made a list of my PC specs. and gave the prices I paid... Id like to know how much someone would purchased this for, be honest I suppose lol.
Oh and Its hasnt even really been used, maybe 1 week if that. So pretty much brand new condition.

On the Antec case I partially customized it with a racing yellow gloss paint on the front grills, side window grill, the inside and the back. Just to give it more character :)

PSU (CMPSU-Corsair 650W 120 mm Fan) -$98.00
GPU (VisionTek Radeon HD4870 512MB PCI-e) -$315.00

Post a pic, why not.....

Also pls post it in the correct section, just because it is the most visited section doesn't mean it won't be viewed! Most likely this will be moved, to the correct section.

Please post in the correct section, because most people just click the "new posts" button at the top so it won't really matter if you put it in one thats busy or slow.

I will tell you that your going to want to consider Intel. AMD is currently only offering low-mid range CPU's compared to Intel.

but its not worth $800, do you know how i know?

I have the reciepts!!

Well, its not new anymore. Even if you only used it for a week, that means its a used machine, and that knocks down the price. You hardly ever have a re-sale value equal to the original price.

I think max you could get for that would be a bit of $1k. But around $800-$900 is a very reasonable price.

The best would to put it on craiglist or Ebay with a reserve, and see how much it will go for.

Pretty nice computer. Reminds me of mine somewhat.

Ok,

I never thought id get 1500 for it in the least, but thinking that id get 800 for it kinda makes me think lol. 800 dosnt make me happy.

are you talking about 800- 900 with the monitor?

Kinda. Some people will want it added in cheap, and other wouldnt mind adding another $100-$150 for that monitor.

So you could get lucky and be around 80% of your original price, which is a decent resale at $1200, or you maybe have to settle closer to 50%. Just gotta see how lucky you get. =p

if you have the receipts, and you think its worth that much, then why did you post in the forum?

it is not worth $1500+, do you know how i know?

I'm not an idiot.

Your missing the point...
I paid this much...so yes it is worth what i say...

The whole point of this thread was to get "advice" to how much ppl think I can sell
my other pc for.

Never said your an idiot... why so hostile anyways sir?

Im not looking for a "know it all" kinda person to tell me that they know everything about pc's and such.

move on please :)

1) There is a difference between "your" and "youre"

2) I gave you my "advice" just like you asked

3) If I came off hostile, it's only because I copied your style of responding, therefore, you were hostile first.

4) My answer has been agreed with my others on the thread. I never said I was a know-it-all, I merely answered your question, and you gave a smart-ass response. Good luck selling your computer.
