WTB Gaming Computer!

Dunno if this goes here, otherwise move plz!:D
My roomate is looking for a new desktop computer, he will be using it for 100% hardcore gaming. anywhere from WoW to CS. If anyone has or knows of someone who is selling something of my needs please contact me asap!!! thanks! :)
 
eBay may be a great place to look if he wants to buy a used gaming computer, just be careful since a lot of sellers use very cheap components.

Now when you say CS, do you mean the original Counter Strike or Source?
 
I would assume he means source.

EDIT: If hes just using it for Source and WoW, he doesnt really need too much. I can run both those on low and my computer was extremely cheap.

Original, **** source! haha but also needs to be good enough to run World Of Warcraft :D

Yeah i have built several computers for myself, but my roomate is way too lazy and wants the 'best' of the best... lol hes willing to throw around 1 g

1g is not going to get him best of the best. It will get him a solid gamer though. And it he is looking to buy one from Dell or someplace like that, you can tell him he will be spending $4000 or more for a best of the best system.

If he builds it, our you build it for him, you can get a very solid system that will play wow and CS at high settings for around $1000. But it will not play Crysis at ultra high settings. For that you can double the cost.
 
If you can put together a set of Lego's, you can put together a gaming computer. Just buy the parts and assemble it, save yourself a good sum of money + better performance + Pwn factor of building.
 
You can do alot with 1g. You could go qaud core, but I would stick with dual core, and just get a real tight dual core. I run crysis on my amd 6000 x2, and I have had no problems.

Wont be "Best of the Best" but as said above, you can build a fine system with 1g.

If he can wait a monthish, new CPUs and GFX cards are comming out.
 
Gaming PC

I have a great gaming pc it runs wow perfectly. I'm lookin to sell it cause i dont really play warcrack anymore. 2813305112 call for more info.
