Just what the title says, Im in need of a reasonably priced socket 478 motherboard so I can assemble a PC for my little sister.

if nobody has anything 4 you, i would check out ebay 4 a nice cheap 1

mobos dont have a specific FSB, they can support many speeds ex. 400/533/800..those are 478 speeds

It has a 400mhz FSB. Its just a 1.8ghz Celeron. Nothing fancy.

She likes to play some games, and they keep getting more and more demanding. Plus several of them dont seem to work right on her PC, but work fine on mine for no apparent reason.

Im just looking to get a mobo with either an AGP or PCI-x slot and then get an appropriate video card, otherwise I have all the other stuff.

Brand: I could tell you, if I remembered lol
Model: Same as above
Specs: 1 8x agp slot, 400fsb, umm 2 I think pc133 ram slots

Price: Cheap as balls. Probably like 15$ plus shipping :) and I will possibly include a heatsink if you want

Despite the low price, I think being PC133, im going to have to politely decline, I need DDR memory, as thats all I have, and buying a bunch of PC133 would negate the low price in a hurry.

I actually just got a socket 478 motherboard in a lot of other computer stuff. It has 3 x DDR400 (can run 2 in dual channel) 6 x PCI Slots, 1 x AGP, 1 x CNR, 2 x PATA, 3 x 3Pin Fan, 20 Pin Power, onboard sound and video... it seems like this would have been quite the motherboard in it's day, but I'll have to test to make sure it works.

EDIT: Oh yeah, up to 800Mhz FSB
