Wtf, i bought some music from napster about a year ago, and the licence says i can only play it for another day, it expires tommorw, i cant burn it to a cd, and i wanted to put it on my ipod but it wouldnt let me convert it, wtf?
im pissed..

Should read the fine print before you sign up for that stuff. I believe its in the format of mp4, which limits its usability, and licensing. As you're seeing, you can't transfer/burn/keep forever.

i know that MSN Music along wiht many others use .wma format, i know with MSN Music you can make a copy of the song 10 times, and put it on a few comps i think. I know how u feel, i had 30+ songs and now i cant listen to them anymore.

And i think iTunes is the only program where you can download music for you iPod, not sure though.

thats another reason why i would never EVER pay for music downloads, they are just gonna catch you out and screw you for more money. I would much rather go and buy the CD from HMV or Virgin, at least then you have the physical disc and no scheming little buggers gonna nick it from ya in half a year.

The companies say that its the online equivalent but really it isnt, if it was then it would be a straight mp3 download with no frills atatched, but its not, they have to do all this fancy stuff to it.

no, what i was going to do is burn them to a disk, which automaticly converts it to a .wav without DMR. then i could import it to itunes as a aac. but i couldnt burn it.

i have sent a angry letter to napster, mabey they will fix it
