On a serious note. Have you tried reinstalling the drivers and what not?

I said, I was it was my laptop keyboard, since I posted it in the laptop section.

Is it fixed now, or did you painstakingly make each letter by pressing the key and then pushing backspace if it didn't make the right letter? :D

I was just going to say, if you ever need to type on it, as a temp. solution, you could use the on-screen keyboard :)

I have no idea why, so i'll just throw my idea out.

Does it have any to do with language packs installed on the computer?

Do the keys actually work and produce a character when pressed, or is it like the Laptop isnt receiving and signal?

Nope, nothing has been spilled on it or anything like that. I don't know what was wrong with it, but it is working fine now.

To rule out a software problem in windows, boot up in DOS or some kind of command prompt before it loads windows. Liek the Recovery Console if you have the XP install CD try typing a bit in that to see if its the keyboard or a software problem.
