if i was to remove an xbox hard drive and format it would it work in a normal pc,

what size are the xbox hard drives, and by anychance do they use ata connections

Yes u can use the xbox hard disk in normal pc but first u have to unmount it through any auto installer software (Slayer OR AID) through xbox.

Majority of XBOX Default (Factory) Hard drives are 8 GB. As far as I know they use Parallel ata connection.

so that would be faster than ide
