X-Fi Fatality problems

When I install the drivers, I get the blue screen of death and then it WILL NOT startup. I have to completely uninstall my sound card for the PC to turn on. Why would this be?

It's on the new EVGA Ultra 790i motherboard. It worked fine on my previous motherboard (in sig). And it's annoying me because I want my 5.1 back! :-(

Are they the drivers which came on a CD with the card or the most recent ones from the Creative website?

Drivers from the CD

Try the newest ones from the Creative website and see if it still does it. The older CD drivers may not support your mobo if its newer.
