That is an awesome deal dude, i'd take it. I have an X1900XTX, and used to have an X1900XT (before it burnt out).... I notice a pretty good difference, plus that deal is too good to pass up, you could probably sell your X1900XT for $150 or more.
djray77 said:you really did see a difference? I looked at tomshardware and I didnt see much of a diff. in the numbers.
Skidude, I have almost same setup as you have.
AMD X2 4200+
ASUS A8N-SLI Premium
2GB HyperX
Sony 24" Widescreen
ATI X1900XT, hope soon to be X1900XTX![]()
Ya thats very close, some minor differences, but Im soon hoping to get an FX-57 when I have the money, they are only $300 now, which is a great deal, seeing as how the FX-60 is $800![]()

Why not a x2 4600+?

Checking through the bechmarks thee fx-57 beats the x2 in some tests but the x2 beats the fx in some tests. But I would go with the x2, cheaper, and better multi-tasking performance. Also, you could overclock the x2 to fx speeds or at least x2 4800+ speeds.

Well I was gonna get the X2 4800+ but its out of stock, so FX-57 was my second option.... i'll just wait till the 4800 is back in stock.
