X1950XT scary......

But when i ran ATi catylist Overdrive....

Processor
Requested : 621
VPU clock :500

Memory
Requested : 900mhz
Current memory clock 594

as you can see...... So confused....

Yes, that is correct. It is a feature which Catalyst uses to keep the card cool. It only uses the clocks it says on newegg when you are running a 3D Application (such as a game) which requires that extra horsepower. A simple way to check this is to bring up overdrive and leave it on your screen. Start a game or other 3D application and then, while in game, quickly minimize the screen and look at your overdrive screen which is already up. It will state the clock speeds which it should be at for just a few moments before switching back to the heat-saving clocks it idles on. It is not an error at all, and your card is not faulty, that is the way ATI designed them to work.

And BTW- the memory clock will say 900 because in reality you have to multiply that number by two to get the full memory clock reading, so 900x2=1800, which is the clock speed newegg states.
