x2 4400 and a crap gpu

hey everyone should i get the x2 4200 and a crap gpu and upgrade later i play l.ots of games and do video editing but i wouldnt mind waiting a bit till my birthday or sumin to get the gpu what you think

Certainly a GPU in my opinion. A GPU is easily upgradable and generally speaking a less expensive investment. The X2 is a great processor, so I would get that and only then get a better GPU.

the fact is both are very important. But for a gaming experience the gpu is certainly the more important of the two, extreme examples exluded. But from an upgrade perscetive it will be cheaper to by the 4400 and pick up a dirt cheap gpu for upgrade later, than visa versa.
 
well the gpu is mostly for gaming, but if you spend more on a better processor, it will help every aspect of the computer, not JUST gaming
 
Depends when your birthday is, if its a long ways away, i would go with the 3500 and 7800GT, but if its fairly close, i woul go with a X2 and a cheap gpu, then upgrade the gpu later.
 
if i were you.. i would wait till your birthday, and then upgrade CPU and grafics.. you'll get it cheaper. and then you exacly know your budget ;)
