I've seen it yes

its just 200MHz slower then the FX-62, and has locked multipliers (obviously).
so i think it would be an o.k. buy :) ( C2D has a better price performance ratio tough )

There are a few ways, yes. One way is via the registry, however that usually resets everytime you restart your computer. There's another way which makes it "long term".

The price point on the upper Athlons are insane, the 4600 is about 250 but if you jump to the 5000 you only get a extra 200mhz and its 500 bucks, between the 5000 and 5200 the 5200 is a better deal but comparied the the 4600 there rip offs in price!

Yea the 4600 and the 5000 have the same cache, the 4600 is 2.4 and the 5000 is 2.6 and 500 bucks. Man 250 is a lot to pay for 200 mhz.

Don't forget your also paying for bragging rights. Since saying you have a 5000/5200+ sounds much better then a 4600/4800+ :p
