Hello Everyone, I would first like to say this is my first post here, so I hope I will find this a good experience
.
I recently built my own PC, and as the title says the GPU is a X700LE(http://www.abit-usa.com/products/graphics/techspec.php?categories=2&model=250).
I was playin world of warcraft today
and then it minimized and I got some error message something along the lines of 'driver not receiving messages/responding'. I clicked 'OK' or w/e and went back to playing. A few minutes later, the whole computer completely crashed, and the monitor said 'no signal' as if the computer was not on.
I DL'd the new drivers and I think I installed them (Sidenote: Can anyone tell me how I install them
) Since then there has been no problems. (Hours later)
So what it boils down to, is, does anyone have any ideas what to do:
* Is this some fluke?
* Did the drivers fix the problem (note: not really sure how to install)
* Is the card dying? (if so I am incredibly angry, since its like 3 months old
)
Thanks for reading, hope to get some advice soon... Since if this is broken, Santa's gettin' a new list
EDIT: Is there any surefire way to check is my VidCard is OK? After drivers are properly installed, etc.
