can someone tell me how good an ati radeon x800 GTO agp 8x is and where it sits with the other cards on the market?

what games will you be playing? it'll play newer games on medium settings, and other games on high settings...
its a good card though.
for the record the x850xtpe and the 7800gs are the two arguably best cards for AGP 8x
 
ill be playing x3, farcry, doom3, f.e.a.r, halo, nfs carbon
i just bought the card today but cant have it till b'day
 
if you've got 1gb or more of memory, and its a 256mb card, then it ought to play all those games on high except f.e.a.r. and MAYBE doom 3/farcry. though im not too familiar with farcry's settings/suggested system specs..
 
maybe you can overclock the card alittle. my x800 xt pe will run fear and doom3 on pretty decent settings.
