X800gto Vs. 6800le

hi all, i decided to buy a new video card so i need some help from you experts ;)

here it goes:

1. budget limit is 160$
2. it has to be an AGP card
3. which one would be better when i unlock the extra pipes and flash the bios
4. which one is a better overclocker
5. what can i change X800GTO and 6800LE in to (example softmodding 9500 = 9700)

that would be all, thx in advance

Stock, id say the x800GTO is the better deal, and softmodding depends on the brand of card.

And i overclocked mine pretty high, went from 450/980 to 550/1070.
 
Go for the GeCube ATi X800GTO, I heard that you can OC it to the equivalent of a X850PE !, 12 pix pipeline to 16 just by flashing the card with X850PE Bios. BUT i have never done this my self !!!
 
thx, then the X800GTO it is, but what brand to choose, GeCube?, are u sure, can i have some more oppinions here please.

EDIT: btw do they even make X800GTO's in AGP interface?!? if no im ****ed

I would read the posts below concerning the X800GTO because it seems connect3D's revision 2 of this card is now unclockable.
 
Connect3D's X800GTO's are no longer unlockable unless you buy an "older" card. They are now laser cutting the extra 4 pipes, so once unlocked they are corrupt and non-functional.

The X800GTO2 is still unlockable, but ~$240.
 
oh, ok guys, thx to all of u, im gonna search around a lil bit and see what would be the best card for 160$, and btw nobody said nothin bout 6800LE
