Xbox 360 Cannot connect to internet

I had been running my xbox into my laptop to share the internet connection but it has since stopped working. Everything else runs without a problem. When testing it has me reset the router followed by something about not being able to connect to the router.

Has anyone encountered this?
 
Hmm... Have you checked in settings section(xbox) if your router assigns ip to your xbox? You should also check if you have enabled in your settings(xbox) that xbox get a dynamic ip(maybe there is a static ip set on your xbox).
