I heard from my cousin that you can but of course he's not a very reliable source for information. try to google it :D or try xbox.com or xbox360.com
 
But then you can rent games, pass them to the HHD and not pay, so in that case Microsoft as well as the game companies may loose money...

they could have some security thing like they have for DVDs

If you can pass them to your HHD than no security is needed.

P.S. DVD's use Macrovision CSS protection which can be broken with, SlySoft AnyDVD, DVDShrink etc.

I meant the renting places could have a security thing so you couldn't copy it to your HDD and make game companies lose money or games could come with a keycode (like mmorpgs) that you have to connect to xbox live and put in that code to save the game to ur xbox360 so people wont give it to their friends and stuff. Yeah i know about the DVD thing and getting through it

If you read the above you would understand what my point is;
If Xbox 360 will have a HDD will it be for LEGALLY passing games onto it WITHOUT a modchip??

Exaclty what I'm saying.

I noticed your irony in this post, I didn't meen to be offensive, I would just appreciate if you didn't call 'piracy' most of the posts I make...

P.S. What I'm trying to say is that MS woulden't want to enable you to pass games on to the hdd because you would rent and put onto hdd, and so MS would lose money, so I doubt that they will enable such a thing...

teh original x box you could hook up a bigger hd then with a mod chip rip games the mod chip is nothing to do with microsoft. it wil prob come out for teh 360
