Xbox Adaptor

That would be listed either in the paper literature or CD that came with the router. What brand do you have?
 
Netgear 108 mbps wireless router, i don't think we have any of the stuff for it any more, is there another way to find it,

also do u know any thing about your network sercurity no.

On the bottom of your router there should be a sticker that tells you the WEP or WPA adress. (thats the security code)
as for the IP adres, are you sure you have to enter one yourself? if you have to, you can look into the IP adres your computer has. (for example 192.168.1.37 ) then you have to use these numbers 192.168.1.xxx (and put in a random number in the end. the one I mainly use is 155 since its usually unused, at least over here.)
but check if you cant set it to DHCP (so it obtains its IP adress automatically)
