Xbox hard drives

Can you use a normal computer hard drive for an xbox 360? just wondering, thank you very much for the help.

I THINK they are laptop hard drives in a custom encolsure which you cant remove. Im not sure.

I definitely know it's possible, but I believe it involves modding more than the hard drive enclosure. I don't know the fine points of it, I just know it can be done.

You can use an external hard drive as expansion for your Xbox 360. It involves formatting the hard drive in a specific way so that the 360 will recognize it.

You may just need to format it FAT32 like I had for my external HDD connected to my PS3.

Yeah you can use normal computer ones, I know the Xbox uses the 3.5in ones, not sure about the Xbox 360, haven't got the chance to take one apart yet.
