Need help plugging in my XBOX to my HD-LCD. Read I could do it through the plug ports on the monitor itself but through VGA and not DVI through neoya X2VGA. Check out the pic:

I know if I try a diect link it'll be 480i aspect and not 1080i or 1080p.
Since the X2VGA2 only goes with VGA and not DVI, I noticed that I can change the source on the monitor to either VGA or DVI through PIP swapping like changing inputs on my HDTV.
Question is do I have to buy a transcoder for sure or can I get away with plugging it in directly into the monitor? I'll try tomorrow but doubt it'll work. I was just hoping someone could give me an idea before I tear apart all the cables from the XBOX connected to the HDTV.
I was also reading ppl did it through a TV-tuner card, which I do have (an ATI).
