Xbox to laptop monitor. Possible?

Until I buy my new pc I'm doomed to playing my Xbox.
But anyway I enjoy hooking the xbox up to my monitor via vga adapter.
The thing is though, I have a Laptop and it has a vga pluggin in the back, and I was wondering if theres anyway I could use my laptop screen for gaming.

I have a Radeon mobility X7 (i think its X7 or something like that)
