XCLIO vs Rosewill PSU

lol why??? does newegg give you more discount as you buy more stuff there? i bought over 500 bucks stuff there they never give me one single discount.

newegg is not all that great and is not always the cheapest. just give other websites a try ! you have nothing to loose!! personally i think performance-pcs.com is the best ! specially they offer USPS priority shipping

Im building this computer for my friend and he wants to buy from newegg. its not my decision..

I am trying to decide between these two PSUs. Which one should i get?

Rosewill Stallion Series RD550N-2DB-SL-BK ATX 12V V2.2/ EPS 12V Black 550W Active PFC Power Supply - SLI Ready Auto Switching ( 90-264V ) UL, FCC

XCLIO STABLEPOWER 500W ATX 500W Power Supply 100 - 240 V UL, CUL, TUV, CB, VDE, FIMKO, DEMKO, NEMKO, SEMKO

This PSU is for a new build not for my sig. I am going to be running a 8800GTS , 400gb sata, E6750 and 2gb ram.

Of the two, the XClio gets my vote. That Rosewill unit is built by Solytech, a division of Deer (although granted one of their better models). The XClio is a solid Enhance build.

I was wondering if PFC is needed. cuz i found this..but its has no PFC

PFC is certainly not essential. That's better than the other Rosewill, although I'd still favour the XClio.

Thank you. I have a XClio in my rig right now and it has never failed me. Im going to stick with the XCilo.

The Ultra PSUs from tigerdirect are really well priced and supposed to perform well. I have the corsair 520 and would say if you stretch your budget a little bit you should get that.
